How to conduct a BT MeetMe Global Access call

Step 1:  Invite the people you wish to meet with and share with them the following information:

  • Date, time, and time zone of the meeting
  • Participant Passcode (followed by the # sign)
  • The appropriate local dial-in numbers for each international participant.

To look up the international local dial-in numbers you will need to go to the Global Access URL link which you will find in your BT MeetMe Global Access welcome e-mail.

You have the option to share the Global Access URL link with your participants, if you wish for them to look up their local dial-in numbers.

If you cannot find your welcome email please call our help desk - 0800 0850 679 or ask for a reminder email to be sent to you via your online services account.

Step 2:

  • At the start of your meeting, look up and dial your local BT MeetMe Global Access dial-in number and then follow the voice prompts*
  • Then enter your Chairperson’s Passcode, followed by #.
  • Participants follow the same instructions, replacing the Chairperson Passcode with the Participant Passcode, followed by #.

Handy hint:  To prevent fraudulent use please do not share your Chairperson’s Passcode.

Step 3:  That’s it! You will be joined together with your participants on the call and your meeting can begin.

* If you or your participants have difficulties connecting to your local dial-in numbers please try an alterative local access number. These rare difficulties can be due to telephone network issues which are outside of BT’s control.

What are Global Access Numbers?

BT MeetMe Global Access Numbers allow international participants to dial into conference calls using local dial-in numbers instead of an international dial-in number. Local numbers are easier to dial and more cost-effective than international numbers.
