The Web-based Office Live Meeting client is an alternative for users of the Office Live Meeting service who cannot install or run the Windows-based meeting client, usually because their computer runs an operating system that is not compatible with the Windows-based meeting client, such as Microsoft® Windows® 98, Sun® Solaris™, or Apple® Macintosh®.
The Web-based meeting client does not require installation of any files; it runs as a Java applet in the user’s Web browser which also allows non-Windows operating systems such as Linux and Macs to now be able to access and use Live Meeting.
Before you use Office Live Meeting Web Access, you must make sure that:
You can log on to Office Live Meeting Web Access in two ways:
NOTE: The Office Live Meeting Web Access option is offered to you only if the Windows-based client is not installed on your computer.
Step 1: Go to the Live Meeting URL on your wallet card or from your welcome email.
Step 2: Click My Home on the upper left side of the page.
Step 3: Enter your user login and password, and click Login.
Step 4: On the My Home page, do one of the following:
Step 5: On the Install Microsoft Office Live Meeting client or use Microsoft Office Live Meeting Web Access page, under Use Live Meeting Web Access (fastest), click Accept and Use. You will only be asked to do this step once - next time you join a meeting you will be taken directly to the Join Meeting window.

Step 6: On the Join Meeting page, enter the Meeting ID and Entry Code (if required).
Step 7: Click Join Meeting.
Step 1: In the invitation, click Join the Meeting.
Step 2: On the Install Microsoft Office Live Meeting client or use Microsoft Office Live Meeting Web Access page, under Use Live Meeting Web Access (fastest), click Accept and Use.You will only be asked to do this step once - next time you join a meeting you will be taken directly to the Join Meeting window.

Step 3: In the Join Meeting window, type your name as you want it to appear to the other participants, and then click Join Meeting.
Step 4: If your browser asks you to trust the signed applet from Microsoft, click Yes.
Office Live Meeting Web Access appears in its own browser window. The Meeting Entry page remains open in the background. Keep this window open in case you are disconnected from the meeting and need to re-enter it.
After logging in to a meeting as a presenter, you can import any content (slides, documents, diagrams, or other files) that you have prepared for presentation.
Connecting to BT MeetMe
Dial your BT MeetMe dial-in number noted on your wallet card or welcome email and follow the prompts. Enter your chairperson's passcode, followed by

Step 1: Invited participants will click on the meeting URL in the participant meeting invitation that they would have received from you as the chairperson.
Step 2: Participants will be taken to a web page which will give them the option to Install Microsoft Office Live Meeting client or Microsoft Office Live Meeting Web Access page, under Use Live Meeting Web Access (fastest), participants to click Accept and Use. Particpants will only be asked to do this step once - next time they join a meeting they will be taken directly to the Join Meeting window.
Step 3: Participants to enter their Display Name, the Meeting ID, and Meeting Key (if required to join the meeting).
Step 4: Participants follow the same audio instructions as you.
When you are using the Web-based client in Microsoft Office Live Meeting Service, there are some limitations. The features that are available in the Windows-based client, but not the Web-based client, are listed below.
To run Live Meeting Web Access, your computer must meet the minimum requirements listed in the table below. These are minimum system requirements that have been tested and are supported. Live Meeting Web Access requires a Java™ Virtual Machine (JVM™) to be installed and running. Live Meeting Web Access may load and run correctly on other operating system, browser, and Java™ Virtual Machine combinations, but other combinations are not supported.
